What Are Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis plant. To date, over 85 cannabinoids have been identified including Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most well-known cannabinoid produced by the cannabis plant, and is the only psychoactive cannabinoid. Of the 85 non-psychoactive cannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most widely known.

What Is Hempower™ Pure CBD Oil?

Hempower™ Pure tinctures are produced from a combination of whole plant hemp extracts containing the entire range of U.S. Government patented cannabinoids and cannabinoid isolate.

Where Does Hempower™ Source Its CBD?

Hempower™ CBD is extracted from proprietary genetics developed and farmed in the United States of America under the 2014 US Farm Bill. Derived from legal American industrial hemp, CBD is and thus legal to ship to all 50 states, Hempower™ contains THC levels of 0.3% or less.

Do I Need a Prescription Buy Hempower Products?

No. Hempower™ products are classified as hemp and are thus legally available to anyone who wishes to purchase them.

In contrast to marijuana, federal law does allow for the cultivation, processing and marketing of hemp and hemp products, which would include cannabinoids derived from industrial hemp, under the conditions set forth in Section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (aka the “Farm Bill”). Passed by Congress and signed into law by the President in 2014, the Farm Bill permits the growth and cultivation of industrial hemp in states where hemp is legal to grow.

Does Hempower Ship to All 50 US States?

Yes. Hempower™ Hemp proudly ships our Hempower™ proprietary hemp extracts to all 50 States. The United States Farm Bill of 2014 classified industrial hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC on a dry-weight basis. Because Hempower™ products contain less than 0.3% THC by weight, we are allowed by U.S. Federal law to conveniently ship to your doorstep.

Is CBD Legal in My State?

While the production of industrial hemp is federally legal in 30+ states, not every State has adopted the Farm Bill. As such, there is a grey area as to whether or not your state has explicitly permitted the sale of hemp products or CBD. While Hempower™ will ship to all 50 states, it is recommended that you research your state’s CBD laws before ordering from Hempower™.
Additionally, the DEA made a statement in December 2016 that claimed that CBD was a controlled substance. This claim conflicts with the actual laws and as such the DEA is currently being sued. While the court case proceeds, we feel comfortable in the legality of continuing to manufacture and distribute CBD and hemp derived products.
